"The Trouble With Sydney"

Tyler's second and third grade class wrote a play about bullying. It was called, "The Trouble with Sydney". They wrote the script and the music and made the costumes with minimal help from their teacher, Ms. Smith. It was started in September from a problem that their class had and after many months of practice, they performed it for the school and their parents this week. Tyler had the part of one of the narrators. He did great!! It was a wonderful play. It had a real plot and it was funny. It was so impressive that the School Board has even asked to see it when they meet in May. I was so proud of Tyler's efforts in this collaboration.

Growing up is Hard to Do

I heard Audrey crying this morning. I found her in front of the TV in quite a predicament. She had climbed into the baby doll stroller and got stuck. Apparently, she is not as little as she used to be.

There are certain things that are cute on girls that you hope do not carry through to adulthood. This is one of them: Grandma Eden found tutu's for Olivia and Audrey. Audrey became attached quickly and wore it with everything. And, as she proves here, without anything.

We're Hoping for Snow...

Grandpa Clark has taken up a new hobby while serving his mission in Nauvoo. He has started knitting caps for the grandkids. We have had an otherwise warm winter, but now we are hoping for snow!!

Museum of Flight

Olivia's preschool had an excursion to the Museum of Flight. Audrey went along with us. We had a great time riding in airplanes of all sizes and learning about how they fly.

Look What McLendon Left

McLendon was only visiting until Christmas Eve. We knew that Santa would take him home when he stopped by our house. Much to our surprise, Mac dropped a bag of goodies for the kids on the roof as he left. It was fun to watch Dad retrieve the bag and we loved getting the gifts inside.
