Just Keep Swimming

Olivia's friend Ben joined our swim lessons and it has made all the difference. She has courage where she lacked it during the first lesson. She had a great time at swimming lessons today and even went under the water. The best part is that she thought it was all her idea.

2020 Summer Olympic Swimmer

Olivia had her first swim lesson today. We are hoping she gets in the water at our second lesson.

Tyler's office

The boys each have an "office" at Grandma's house. She has two bedrooms that she has put a desk in and so the boys have a space to color, draw and do various "projects". The other day, Tyler overheard Olivia talking about how she didn't have an office at Grandma's house. Tyler solved the problem in his typical way...

That's my girl!!!

After church today, I was talking with Olivia's Sunbeam teacher, Teri. She was telling me how wonderful Olivia is and how she always listens and is so quick to help the others, etc. Then she said, "When we pull out the snacks, she eats them really quickly and always is the first to ask for more. You can tell she has two older brothers; she eats like a boy." I was a little bit ashamed to tell her she actually eats like her mother!!

Then she went on talking about Olivia and her little sister. In the conversation, I said something about Audrey and Teri said, "Audrey?" I nodded and she said, "Her name isn't Molly?" I assured her that the name we had chosen was indeed Audrey. "Well," she continued, "when we ask Olivia what her baby's name is, she always says Molly." I told her that Olivia's baby - her doll - is Molly. Her sister is Audrey. We ended the conversation agreeing that what happens in Sunbeams, stays in Sunbeams!

Audrey is nine months old!!!

Our trip to the Brighton Rec Center....er, Denver.

We went to Denver for a long weekend and had a great time. While we were there, we were able to spend time with our cousins, witness Annalie's baptism, and participate in Grandpa and Grandma Clark's mission farewell. We had a great time.

But the pinnacle of the trip was going to the Brighton Rec Center. Carter, Tyler and Olivia all listed that as their favorite part of the trip. Olivia liked going down the long slide which required an adult to be with her. Every time we would get to the bottom, she would race to climb the stairs to go again. Then she would giggle the whole way down. Carter and Tyler liked all the water features and the freedom they had because of the shallow depth of the pool. Even Audrey was able to spend some time in the water and loved it.

We look forward to another trip to Denver.
